Contested, uncontested and handball-received possessions; kicks and handballs; effective, ineffective and turnover outcomes; men’s and women’s definitions; marks including contested, uncontested, inside 50 and intercept.

Import vision, apply correct filenames, import coding windows and match player numbers to PlayHQ.

3.4 Coding Actions in Real Time

Log each stat type, understand which buttons link to player numbers, use H/A99 Unknown Player correctly, resolve discrepancies and write useful guernsey or score notes.

3.5 Section Check: Role & Proficiency

Complete a knowledge check, download short clips and practise coding them in the software.

04 Post-Match Procedure Finish, check and export a match correctly after the final siren.
4.1 Completing & Finalising the Game

Complete home and away checks, sort rows, review unknown players, and export CSV, XML and highlight files.

Post-Match Check

Review short examples and identify what has been completed correctly and what must be fixed.

Error identification
Complete the course in order. The practical exercises rely on the definitions and workflow introduced in the earlier lessons.

Final assessment

Code one complete quarter

Set up, code and finalise one quarter of football for both home and away teams. Your submitted file will be reviewed against the completed iSports benchmark so we can assess accuracy, consistency and workflow.
