Can you briefly introduce yourself and your role within the footy club? James Saker, head coach of Bell Park Football Club in the Geelong Football Netball League. |
Are there specific features of iSports software/services that have proven particularly beneficial for your footy club? We have really enjoyed the package that iSports have delivered to us. Having a one stop shop package that allows our players to view and review their individual games has been crucial for the development of our young list. The game day rotations addition has certainly simplified our game day flow too. |
Can you highlight any functionalities/features that stand out and have positively influenced the workflow/footy experience for coaches, players, and support staff? The biggest advantage has been being able to provide a coded version of the game for players to look at in their own time. To be able to post this vision on a Sunday evening (due to iSports promptness) has enabled the learning/review process to commence far earlier than in previous seasons. The ability to get bespoke stats for our game style/plan has also been a great bonus. |
How would you describe the ease of integrating iSports into the club's existing workflow? Being able to keep football specific communications within the iSports platform has kept thing simple for players and ensured no key football learnings are missed due to overkill of info. |
Would you recommend iSports to other clubs, and if so, why? The customer service aspect of iSports has been fantastic. We have tailored a software solution together with the team at iSports and see this relationship as critical to the development of our club. |
